Itinerary
07.30 am :
Hotel pick up and transfer overland to Gunung Emas in Tambunan, about 2 hours drive from Kota Kinabalu city center. Enjoy the refreshing cool temperature and wonderful scenery from the starting point.
09.30 am :
Bike fitting. Begin mountain biking the 5km to Rafflesia Centre. Along the way, experience the wonderful view of lush green hillsides and local villages. Bike approximately 55% downhill and 45% uphill along a sealed-road, occasionally cycling off-road. The journey takes about 2-3 hours, depending on your fitness level and ability.
02.00 pm :
Reach Tambunan Rafflesia Centre, the ending point. Proceed to Mahua Waterfall either on bike or on foot. Swim or bike, rest and enjoy the lunch that will be served.
03.00 pm :
A vehicle will collect you and return back to Kota Kinabalu city center.
Mountain Bike Techniques : Our experienced guide will brief you on the proper way of using the gear system based on the different tracks and also how to ride on a single track, downhill as well as uphill.
